Acceptable Use Policy
Guidelines for acceptable use of the Support Buying Black platform to ensure security, integrity, and legal compliance.
1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Support Buying Black ("SBB") Platform, including our website, mobile application, and all related services. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, legal action, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
2. Purpose and Scope
This AUP is designed to:
- Protect the security, integrity, and availability of the Platform
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and malicious activity
- Maintain a safe and trustworthy environment for all users
- Protect the rights and safety of our community members
This AUP applies to:
- All users of the Platform (registered and unregistered)
- All content posted, uploaded, or shared on the Platform
- All use of Platform features and services
- All interactions between users
- All marketplace transactions and DAO governance activities
3. General Acceptable Use
3.1 Permitted Uses
You may use the Platform to:
- Create and maintain a personal or business profile
- Post original content (text, images, videos, links)
- Engage with content through likes, comments, and shares
- Communicate with other users through messaging and comments
- Buy and sell goods and services on the Marketplace
- Create, attend, and RSVP to events
- Participate in DAO governance through proposals and voting
- Enroll in and complete educational courses
- Join and participate in community groups
3.2 Lawful Use Only
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including:
- Federal, state, and local laws
- International laws (if accessing from outside the U.S.)
- Export control and sanctions laws
- Privacy and data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Intellectual property laws
- Consumer protection laws
- Anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
- Securities laws (regarding tokens and investments)
4. Prohibited Activities
4.1 Illegal Activities
You may not use the Platform to:
- Violate any federal, state, local, or international law
- Engage in or facilitate criminal activity
- Distribute, sell, or facilitate the sale of illegal goods or services (controlled substances, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit items)
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, or financial crimes
- Facilitate human trafficking or exploitation
- Distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Promote or recruit for terrorist organizations
- Violate intellectual property rights
4.2 Platform Security and Integrity
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Platform systems, accounts, or data
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
- Exploit vulnerabilities or bugs for malicious purposes
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
- Use the Platform to distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to overwhelm Platform infrastructure (DDoS attacks)
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without explicit permission
- Interfere with other users' access to the Platform
4.3 Account Misuse
You may not:
- Create multiple accounts for any single person
- Share your account credentials with others
- Purchase, sell, or transfer accounts
- Create accounts with false or misleading information
- Impersonate any person, entity, or organization
- Create fake profiles or personas to deceive others
- Use accounts to evade bans or suspensions
4.4 Content Violations
You may not post, upload, or share content that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or obscene
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Infringes intellectual property rights of others
- Violates privacy or publicity rights
- Is misleading, deceptive, or constitutes false advertising
- Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors
- Harasses, threatens, or bullies individuals or groups
- Constitutes spam or unsolicited advertisements
4.5 Marketplace Abuse
You may not:
- List prohibited, illegal, or stolen items for sale
- Engage in fraudulent or deceptive sales practices
- Manipulate prices through artificial demand
- Fail to deliver purchased goods or services
- Discriminate against buyers based on protected characteristics
- Leave false or malicious reviews
- Use the Marketplace to launder money or evade taxes
- Engage in price gouging during emergencies
4.6 DAO and Governance Abuse
You may not:
- Manipulate voting through fake accounts (Sybil attacks)
- Buy or sell votes
- Bribe, coerce, or threaten voters
- Submit fraudulent or malicious proposals
- Use DAO governance to promote illegal activity
- Misappropriate treasury funds or assets
- Manipulate token markets through pump-and-dump schemes
- Engage in insider trading
4.7 Data and Privacy Violations
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect Platform data
- Use data mining or harvesting techniques
- Share, sell, or distribute user data obtained from the Platform
- Violate users' privacy or data protection rights
- Bypass privacy settings or access controls
- Collect sensitive personal information without consent
- Use Platform data to train AI models without authorization
6. Reporting Requirements
6.1 Reporting Violations
Users are encouraged to report suspected violations through:
- In-platform report buttons (on posts, profiles, messages)

6.2 Mandatory Reporting
We will report certain violations to appropriate authorities, including:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) → NCMEC and law enforcement
- Terrorist content → FBI and DHS
- Human trafficking → National Human Trafficking Hotline and FBI
- Credible threats of violence → Law enforcement
- Financial crimes → FinCEN (when applicable)
6.3 User Cooperation
Users must cooperate with investigations of suspected violations, including:
- Providing truthful information when requested
- Preserving evidence of violations
- Not interfering with or obstructing investigations
7. Enforcement Actions
7.1 Enforcement Measures
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may:
Warning:
- First-time minor violations
- Educational notification sent
Content Removal:
- Delete violating posts, comments, or content
Temporary Restrictions:
- Restrict posting, messaging, or other features
- Duration: 1-30 days depending on severity
Temporary Suspension:
- Account access temporarily disabled
- Duration: 1-7 days (or longer for serious violations)
Permanent Suspension:
- Account permanently disabled
- Applied to serious or repeat violations
- May include IP ban
Legal Action:
- Civil lawsuits for damages or injunctive relief
- Cooperation with law enforcement
- Criminal referrals when appropriate
7.2 Zero-Tolerance Violations
The following violations result in immediate permanent suspension:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Terrorist content or recruitment
- Credible violent threats or plans
- Severe harassment or doxxing with malicious intent
- Coordinated inauthentic behavior or bot networks
- Large-scale fraud or scams
7.3 Appeals
Users may appeal enforcement actions through Settings > Account > Appeals. Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days.
Appeals are not available for zero-tolerance violations.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Respecting IP Rights
Users must respect intellectual property rights, including:
- Copyrights (text, images, videos, music, software)
- Trademarks (brand names, logos, slogans)
- Patents (inventions, processes)
- Trade secrets (confidential business information)
9.2 Fair Use and Exceptions
Fair use of copyrighted material may be permitted for:
- Commentary and criticism
- News reporting
- Educational purposes
- Parody and satire
Users bear the burden of establishing fair use.
9.3 DMCA Compliance
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To report copyright infringement, see our DMCA procedures in the Terms of Service.
